Sleep and Breakfast

After a night of chocolate almonds and onion/garlic pretzels/trail mix, sleep came quickly and easily. The beds were comfortable and we all slept. I was blessed yesterday sitting next to a woman for 6 hours on the plane who loved Jesus and shared many scripture references with me to help our stay be more peaceful or as peaceful as possible. She was sent from God, no doubt.

We all learned to sleep on the benches at the airport. :) That was new to all of us. Boy, those benches were comfy.

Love, Polly

  1. "You can't control the cards you are dealt, just how you play the hand." We are all thinking positive thoughts, praying and knowing that you will endure this new adventure with the same strength and determination you have used in the past year. Remember, don't ever count your money when you are sitting at the table, there will be time enough for counting when the dealing is done!

  2. Dear Rick, Julie and Polly,
It sounds like on the plane, our Lord sent along your guardian angel to look over you both on this trip. You may not see your angel but one is always lurking out for you. Please don't feel alone in Germany, you have many many family and friends here praying for you.
I work tomorrow 9-5:30. I shall round up some of our co-workers tomorrow and we will go to our Church Chapel in the Lobby and pray for your safe surgery and to be cancer free. May God Bless you friends.
