Today we met again with Dr. Rolle and met Dr. Krasler(chief anesthesiologist) for one hour. Bottom line is that Rick has a bizarre presentation in his lungs like they have never seen. For information sake, they see 7000 patients per year.
This is what we know.
1. Rick has terrific lung and heart function.
2. Surgery will be tomorrow at 0900 which and we have the anesthesiologist's phone number to call him at 13oo to find out the progress.
3. Histological samples will be taken from multiple tumors since they all appear unusual and dis-similar.
4. Tension is high as we await the surgery and a definitive diagnosis.
5. We miss knowing people and the language at home.
6. We miss our support factor at home too.
Please, please pray for Rick's safe surgery and for calming peace for all of us.
Love, Polly

Rick,
ReplyDeleteThinking of you & praying for you as you travel this very uncertain and tumultuous road. We cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through right now, compounded by the fact that you are so far away from your loved ones & your language. We are with you in spirit and sening positive energy your way from across the "big pond"!!
Love and healing thoughts ~
CJ & Mike :)
Rick and Polly,
ReplyDeleteHere are a few passages:Jeremiah 30:17 "I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,"declares the Lord. Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God,I called to you for help and you healed me.Joshua 1:9"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
God Bless your doctors and nurses and all that are caring for you.Prayers will remain with you. Love, Dawn.
Camp Bushman!
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you all tonight as I settle in here at home. I pray for the peaceful calmness that you are asking for. I wish I could be there to help. Please know that I haven't stopped thinking of both of you since you left. Dawn provided some wonderful passages for you tonight.
Be strong and... give it to GOD. A wise friend once shared that with me.=)
Love you,
Kim Colbert
